Glorfindoll is a fantasy enthusiast from Washington, D.C. (USA) who fell in love with the Tolkien universe 30 years ago. She spent her youth in online Tolkien fanfiction groups, popular spaces doing nothing but growing as New Line Cinema’s initial trilogy went into pre-production. In the Jackson era, the LOTR fandom bloomed to become the content-rich treasure troves of fanfiction and community she still enjoys today. In 2002, she launched an invite–only fanfiction archive, Helm’s Deep, which has since been retired.

From Rings of Power podcaster to longtime Tolkien trivia game designer and host, Glorfindoll doesn’t believe in smooth-brain gatekeeping nor subscribe to loremaster elitism. With each new entry into the Middle Earth universe comes exciting new fans to share in the love!
